Marrying 12 diverse amp voicings and 24 comprehensive FX from the celebrated Helix processor with a compact and versatile combo amp design, the Catalyst CX 60 from Line 6 is a 60W 1x12" modeling guitar amp, ideal for studio recording, practice, and small stages.
12 Amp Voicings
Select one of 12 amp voicings derived from the Helix amp and effects processor. From pristine clean to modern high gain, you can achieve a wide range of amp tones with a simple turn of a knob.
Traditional Controls, Plus More
Catalyst CX amps feature familiar Volume, Gain, Tone, and Reverb controls, plus numerous effects and other options under the hood.

Onboard FX
Select up to two simultaneous FX at a time, and choose from 24 different reverb, delay, modulation, and pitch effects, all derived from the Helix processor. Each FX channel offers adjustable levels as well as pre/post control.
Tempo and Tuning
Tap in the tempo when using time-based effects such as delay and tremolo. Press and momentarily hold the button to access the handy chromatic tuner.
Output Power
With the Output Power selector knob, you can reduce power from 60W down to half power (30W), 0.5W, and a Mute option. With the Mute, you can completely silence the speaker, using only the preamp and modeling hardware, ideal for DI recording or sending your signal to an external PA or cabinet.
Power Amp Input and FX Loop
Use the Catalyst CX as a powered speaker by bypassing the preamp. Perfect for use with amp modelers and simulators, this option is available after flipping the Mode switch next to the FX return jack from FX Loop to Power Amp In.
USB and MIDI
With the built-in USB-B connection, you can connect to the Catalyst Edit app (macOS, Windows, iOS, and Android) and to the onboard audio interface, which provides four channels at 24-bit and either 44.1 or 48 kHz. Catalyst CX 60 also supports MIDI signaling over USB.
