On the outside, the Canyon-Burl frontplate is attached at the edge to the gently curved, birch body with flat screws and supplemental washers. This design feature maintains the strength and structural integrity of your cajon without hindering playability. And specially formulated rubber feet help you keep the drum in perfect playing position. For massive, projected sound that doesn't get muddy when you really dig in and play loud, Meinl installed an extra ring inside the sound port for smooth, natural compression of your bass tones.
