Moog THEREMINI With Assistive Pitch Correction - Theremin
Futuristic, Otherworldly Sounds
The Theremini® reimagines one of the earliest electronic instruments—and Bob Moog’s first love, the Theremin—into an accessible, expressive tool for musicians of any age or ability.
Its design guarantees musical success regardless of physical ability, blending the experience of playing an instrument without touch with a powerful Animoog‑derived sound engine.
The Theremini offers assistive pitch correction that lets players choose their preferred level of difficulty. With correction fully enabled, every note in the selected scale plays perfectly. Reducing correction increases expressive control of vibrato and pitch. With correction off, the Theremini behaves like a traditional Theremin with no pitch assistance.
A built‑in tuner provides real‑time visual feedback, helping players refine pitch accuracy and learn scales and intervals.
The Presets section includes 32 wave or wavetable‑based sounds, scale storage, playing‑range recall, and stereo delay settings. A recessed top‑panel speaker allows quick private rehearsal, while a front headphone jack enables silent practice.
For performance and gestural control, the rear panel includes stereo line outputs, a selectable‑range Pitch CV output, and a mini‑USB port for MIDI connectivity with the free Theremini software editors.
Huge Sound Without Touch
A completely hands‑free playing experience powered by Moog’s award‑winning Animoog synthesis engine.
Visual Feedback and Education
A built‑in tuner displays each note as it is played, teaching new musicians about pitch and scales.
