Darkglass Electronics Vintage Ultra 2.0 Bass Preamp Pedal
Overview
The Vintage Ultra is our tribute to some of the most legendary sounds in rock history. It provides warm tube-like tones with a natural dynamic response that echoes the organic compression of old tube amps and reel-to-reel tape machines.
The Vintage Ultra 2.0 with Aux In features these warm, tube-like tones and adds all the features a player will need for even greater versatility. Designed for both studio and live use, it will take your direct sound to a whole new level. It allows you to create and tailor your tone to perfection, from a crisp, punchy, clean preamp to a tasty, saturated tone, and everything in between. This is a true elixir for low-end lovers, now featuring an Aux In jack to help you practice with backing tracks.

Inputs and Outputs
- Input: Connect your instrument or output from your pedal board to the ¼” mono jack.
- Aux In: 3.5mm stereo input allows you to practice with backing tracks. The pedal does not control this level; it must be set from your audio source.
- Headphone Output: 3.5mm stereo jack with an internal amplifier capable of driving a minimum load of 16 ohms.
- Output: ¼” jack to connect to the input of your amplifier or another effects pedal.
- Direct Output: Balanced XLR output for connecting the pedal to a microphone preamp, PA system, etc.
- Ground Lift: Disconnects the signal ground on the Direct Output to break any ground loops.
- Cab Sim: Toggles the cabinet simulation on/off on the Direct Output. Bypasses all digital circuits for a zero-latency signal when needed.
- USB: Micro USB B connector allows you to connect the pedal to a PC/Mac to load cabinet simulation impulse responses (IRs).
- Power (9V DC): Only use a regulated 9V DC adapter with a center-negative plug.
