Roland V-Drums are already among the quietest electronic drums available, thanks to years of R&D, precision engineering, and the ability to monitor with headphones. Yet even standard V-Drums can sometimes be too loud. Enter V-Drums Quiet Design. Every component is infused with innovations that dramatically reduce noise and isolate vibrations, allowing for silent practice even in shared spaces.

Engineered for quiet performance.

Through extensive acoustic testing, the VQD106 reduces overall noise by up to 75% compared to a conventional V-Drums kit. The kick and hi-hat are incredibly smooth and quiet, and pad hits produce sound levels similar to normal conversation.

Ultra-responsive snare and tom pads.

The PDQ-8S and PDQ-8 pads feature a honeycomb rubber insert and mesh head design for authentic feel with low noise. Vents on the underside allow air pressure to dissipate, and soft rubber rims make rimshots quieter.

Articulate cymbal pads with natural motion.

Three CYQ-12 cymbal pads include honeycomb rubber, mesh covering, and venting to reduce vibration. Crash and ride pads have dual triggers, natural motion, and hand muting. The hi-hat pairs with the FD-9 pedal for silent, responsive play.

Satisfying kick pad and beater.

The KDQ-8 kick pad supports single and double pedals and provides a realistic feel with minimal vibration. The included KDB-Q beater further reduces impact noise.

Noise-isolating stand and pedal bases.

Special anti-vibration feet and newly designed NEQ-K and NEQ-H pedal bases minimize vibration transfer to the floor, improving overall isolation compared to standard stands.

Powerful TD-07 sound module.

The TD-07 module features premium drum sounds, Bluetooth audio, USB connectivity for recording, and integration with Melodics™ for interactive lessons.

V-Drums Quiet Design options.

If you already have a module, the VQD106PADS version includes all pads and hardware without the TD-07. Components are also available separately and compatible with TD-17, TD-27, TD-50X, and V71 modules.
