The Centavo Mod is a pedalboard-friendly recreation of the most sought-after overdrive pedal of all time. Inside, the circuit design and component choices remain completely unchanged from the original Centavo, preserving the same authentic signal path responsible for its lauded boost and overdriven tones. Centavo Mod delivers the true-to-original sound, response, and playing experience of the Centavo in a significantly smaller footprint with top-mounted jacks, making it easier than ever to add legendary overdrive tones to even the most crowded pedalboards.

Whether you’re after the fabled boost tones, edge-of-breakup overdrive, or you want to push your rhythm channel to true grit, Centavo Mod’s controls take you from tone sweetener all the way to saturated gain. The slimmed-down Centavo is comfortable acting as a boost pedal, but the saturation in the higher gain settings provide a platform for true “transparent” overdriven rhythm tones. Like the full-sized Centavo, Centavo Mod retains the rear-panel “MOD” switch, famously requested by Jeff Beck on the original pedal. This control extends the bass response for added low-end drive and weight on the lower strings.. 100% of the features, components, and circuit integrity of the original Centavo is preserved in the smaller version for those who want the true-to-vintage experience without the vintage size.
