The CX12 uses an edge-terminated, all-brass CK12-style capsule for true frequency response, offering 9 polar patterns — cardioid, omni, figure-8, plus 6 intermediate patterns. It features a premium 12AY7 vacuum tube for added warmth and a custom TAB-Funkenwerk (AMI) USA output transformer that delivers a full, wide, open sound.
