The 5.8 GHz frequency range is less crowded than 2.4 GHz, so with the A58 system you’re less likely to encounter interference from other wireless devices in the area. Active or Passive
The A58 offers both Passive and Active modes, so you can use instruments with any kind of pickup, from vintage passive to high-gain active.
Smart Channel Scanner
The A58 system offers a choice of six different wireless channels. But here’s the best part: it’s able to scan the available channels and automatically choose the one with the strongest, clearest signal! Each time you’re in a new venue, press the scan button on the receiver to find and set the best channel, and then set the transmitter to the same one. When you turn off your units between sets, your most recent channel selection will be recalled.
On the Case
A rugged, compact carry case is included to protect your transmitter, receiver, and charging cable wherever you go.
Charge It
Charge the transmitter and receiver at the same time using the dual USB-C cable and any 5V 2A USB power supply. Charging for two and a half hours gets you 5 hours of play time; 1.25 hours gets you 2 hours, and 30 min gets you 1 hour. The units can be used while charging, though it’s best for battery longevity not to leave them fully charged and plugged in for extended periods.
Make Connections
Any connection you normally make with a 1/4” cable can be replaced with a wireless connection: The A58 transmitter can connect to your instrument or effect pedal, while the receiver can connect to your amp, amp modeler, or pedalboard. You could even use two sets in one rig—one from your instrument to your effects, and another from your effects to your amplifier.
Open Concept
The A58 units have an open-battery-compartment design, which facilitates the testing and servicing of the onboard lithium battery by qualified repair technicians.
