This Yamaha Wingnut will fit on top of their 8mm cymbal stands, or any other 8mm cymbal stand (the standard modern size). Without this, there's no way to secure your cymbals and felts!

This wing nut is ergonomically shaped so that it doesn't hurt to unscrew, even if it's been cranked superhumanly tight.
